Made of equal parts 1970s Birmingham and a myriad of 21st century heavy who’s who, Calgary trio Woodhawk are purveyors of riff centric rock and roll. Capable and original, the band is able to craft anthemic fist pumping songs while forgoing tired stoner rock clichés.

BURNT LUNG

Burnt Lung may seem like they're working double time to put the Stoner in "Stoner Metal" with song titles like "High On" and "Bong Sipper". However, the Vancouver trio take the Sludge and Doom aspects most seriously. After spending 2024 releasing a 4 track self-titled EP and touring British Columbia, the band is set to combine their sludgy riffs with Aaron's loud, fuzzy bass, Sol's thunderous drums, and Harry's throat-rending howls in their upcoming debut full length album.
